About this place
The mixed yakisoba comes with thick, chewy noodles and octopus, prawns and squid. One diner enjoyed how the noodles, served on the hotplate, became a little crispier over time. Another noted that the pickled red ginger added a lively accent. It’s a good choice when you’re in the mood for plenty of seafood. The menu lists a regular-size portion.
For okonomiyaki, options include the classic pork pancake topped with egg, pork with mochi and cheese, and a negiyaki with beef tendon and konnyaku. Yakisoba choices range from squid and pork to tecchan (beef offal) or spring onion with crispy beef fat and salt, so you can choose by filling or flavour. One diner who ordered the pork modern-yaki singled out the combination of crisp-grilled pork and egg. Tonpeiyaki is also available in a half portion, making it an easy extra dish to add.
For a teppan dish, consider the yam roll, described as a speciality dating back to the restaurant’s founding. Diners have mentioned ordering it alongside tonpeiyaki. Monjayaki options include mentaiko and mochi, beef tendon curry, and a seafood mix with prawns, squid and oysters; you can also add toppings. There’s plenty to choose from beyond okonomiyaki, making it easy to share several dishes around the table.
The à la carte dishes can round out a meal. One diner who ordered the prawn ajillo said they enjoyed topping the accompanying baguette with prawns and oil. Beer and wine are also available, so you could add a small dish while waiting for the teppan dishes. The Minami-Tatsumi branch serves lunch and offers both dine-in and takeaway. Reservations are recommended for dinner.
